Painting with a Twist
Whew! Was that the best Thanksgiving holiday ever! We had a lot of family time which Irv and I love. It is sad that it's over already, but it only a few weeks we'll be celebrating again although the Aussie side of the family won't be with us.
On Friday night we had a Family Painting Party with all of our family, Brian's parents, and a couple of friends. It was incredibly fun!
This goofy reindeer was our goal.
The fun wasn't only for the adults. Mr. Beans got to join in and the instructor told him to paint whatever he liked. He created this beautiful painting of a sunset over the ocean. I was quite impressed with his artistic ability--he even added the sun's reflection on the water. I'm pretty sure this is the sunset in Hawaii from out trip there last year.
Here's our "family" with the finished products. Don't you love it?
Everything in our family turns into a competition. Mr. Beans was the judge and he chose the painting in the lower left corner--yes, the one with the mustache aka Adolf Rudolf.
Can't wait until next time!

It's amazing how no two of the paintings turned out the same. Each artist had their own flare and all the paintings turned out unique. Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves, even the guys. Several of these paintings are on the way to their new homes in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Australia.
