Blizzard warning?

We've had the nicest few days of spring lately.  I have even seen signs of life in the yard--green grass and my lilac bushes have buds on them.

Finally, winter is over.

Or maybe not....here's our forecast for the next couple days.

Really?  Snow and a high of 22 tomorrow?  Ugh!  Time to cover the lilacs and hope they survive a mid-April blast of winter.

In other news...this morning I requested a consultation with the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale.  I have grown very discouraged with my doctors here and in Denver, especially this last specialist I saw who won't return my phone calls even when I tell him that I am in severe pain and the drugs he prescribed aren't working.  If I were 30 years younger I would go to medical school and become the world's most caring, thorough doctor who actually follows up with her patients.  Irv says they'll accept me because I'm an interesting case.  I think the real truth is that I'm a nut case.  It wasn't until I had to list all the diagnoses and treatments that I've endured for the last 21 months that I realized how much I've been through.

Anyway, keep you fingers crossed that they accept me as a patient and I don't have to wait months and months for an appointment.

My fingers are crossed. Shame on your doctor for not returning your calls.
