A blessed life!

Wow, the last seven days has been incredible!

Last week our family grew by two feet when little Miss Gigi joined the family.  We have a beloved grandson, Mr. Beans, and now we have a gorgeous little granddaughter.

Here she is when she was brand new.

This was her going home outfit.

This is a just because she's so dang cute picture.

Isn't she beautiful?  We are so blessed to have this sweet girl in our family.  Mr. Beans finally has a cousin!  Dana has promised to send me a picture every day so I'll be sure to share.

On Wednesday my boss came in and told me about a big promotion I'm getting on April 1st.  My new job title is going to have an "AVP" in it.  I'm pretty much in shock and scared at the same time.  More about that later on.

On Saturday we joined some of our other favorite people at the Garth Brooks concert in Denver.  All I can say is incredible!  The man is something else.  He did nine shows in Denver in six days.  Two concerts per night on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  I really don't know how he does it.  I love him!  That's all I can say.

Here's his arrival onto the stage.  I might just have to find out where he's performing next so I can go there.  Am I too old to be a Garth groupie?

On Sunday we loaded up the car and made the drive to Arizona to meet Miss Gigi in person.

She was so happy we were finally here.  She could hardly contain her enthusiasm.

Grammy and Pappy are totally in love with this little girl.  It does my heart good to see how loving, kind, and patient her mom and dad are with her.  It's like they've been parents forever.

Family.
That's what it's all about.  Thank you Lord for this special girl and all the other blessings in my life.  I am a lucky woman!
