Skywatch Friday: Where has the blue sky gone?

It was hard getting a shot for this week's Skywatch Friday.

Why, you ask?

Because here in Southern CO we haven't seen a blue sky in a week.  We're kind of spoiled around here...we normally have something like 330 days of sunshine per year.

This week everything has been just white.  Winter has hit hard.

It is incredibly beautiful and we're very thankful for the moisture.

My old dogs don't enjoy the snow as much as they used to.

My ponies are nice and fuzzy and they're getting extra hay in their bellies to help keep warm.
Isn't he super cute?

I've worked from home this week so I haven't had to commute into town everyday.  The snow is much more enjoyable when you can just sit inside and watch it.  However; I haven't been outside for more than 10 minutes a day in the last week.   I'm going a little stir crazy and I'm ready for my Colorado sun to come back out!  Although I'm not complaining...my heart goes out to those who live in the Northeast.

Happy Skywatch Friday!

It looks a little grey there. I love the photo of your dog. You really captured something there. Strangely enough I love the first shot of the tree.
