Time for Spring Cleaning

We had a snow day yesterday.  Actually only a couple inches of snow, but bitterly cold so it was a good day to stay inside.  I told Irv I was starting my spring cleaning.  He, of course, said spring was a long time off, but I told him you have to have faith.

Post #1 about being 60.  One thing you may or may not know about me is that I like order around me.  I like to know where things are located.  I greatly dislike clutter.  I like to be super organized.

This master closet is not super organized:

My closet was pure chaos.  Now, before I start this post I request there be no comments about the amount of clothes I own (that's a post for another day).

The first step was to get everything out of closet and sort it into piles.  What to keep, what to toss, what to donate.  Then you sort it by the type of clothing--sweaters, button down shirts, work out clothing, jeans, etc.  Keep in mind that I'm not the type of wife who sorts my husband's stuff.  Irv is a grown man and can take of his own stuff.

Once my side of the closet was cleared out then I could begin the organization.

Here's the finished product.  Sweaters on the end, clothing sorted by type along the sides.  One bin of boots and another bin of sandals.  My beloved Anderson Bean boots on the shelf.  Athletic shoes in the rack.

Purses and other stuff organized in bins on the shelf.

Bottom rack contains the jeans, other types of pants, skits, and workout clothing.

I gave away almost all of my work pants and shoes.  The shoe rack holds some of my scarves...

but there are more now neatly organized.

Keep in mind that this is only was winter closet.  The summer clothing is stored separately in another closet (organized by type).  If I'm ever home in the summer I'll switch the contents of the closets around, but since I spend my summers in Yellowstone I can pretty much just leave my winter clothing in our master closet.

Three big boxes of shoes and clothing to donate.  Nothing feels quite so good as getting unused stuff out of your house.  My goal is to not leave my kids with a gigantic hoard of stuff when I leave this earth.

So now my closet is organized...what to clean next?

My side of the closet was already in good shape so I didn't need to organize.

In this manner my acquaintance Wesley Virgin's adventure starts with this SHOCKING AND CONTROVERSIAL VIDEO.

Wesley was in the army-and shortly after leaving-he discovered hidden, "self mind control" tactics that the CIA and others used to get everything they want.

These are the exact same methods many famous people (especially those who "became famous out of nothing") and the greatest business people used to become rich and famous.

You probably know how you use less than 10% of your brain.

That's really because most of your BRAINPOWER is UNCONSCIOUS.

Perhaps this thought has even occurred INSIDE your own head... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's head around 7 years ago, while riding an unregistered, beat-up bucket of a car without a driver's license and with $3 on his banking card.

"I'm very frustrated with going through life paycheck to paycheck! When will I finally succeed?"

You've taken part in those types of questions, isn't it so?

Your own success story is waiting to start. You just need to take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.
